HI GUYS, I HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD AND RESTED WEEKEND.
THIS WEEK WE´LL BE REVIEWING THE WRITTEN EXERCISE AND ALSO DO SOME ORAL ONES IN UNISON. I ALSO NEED TO KNOW IF YOU UNDERSTOOD THE VIDEO ABOUT THE SPACE ELEVATOR WHICH WE TRIED TO SEE LAST WEEK, AS WELL AS THE INTERACTIVE ONE ABOUT THE OCEAN WITH DR. BALLARD.
9 FIRST GRADERS PREFER EXPLORING THE OCEAN AND ONLY ONE PREFERED SPACE.
IN SECOND GRADE 7 PREFER THE OCEAN AND 6 SPACE,
WHEREAS 3 THIRD GRADERS WOULD LIKE EXPLORING THE OCEAN AND 7 PREFER SPACE.
THE HOMEWORK I ASKED FOR WAS HALF A PAGE EXPLAINING WHY YOU PREFER TO EXPLORE WHATEVER AREA YOU CHOSE.

Hi students, I hope you liked the videos we saw on the Space Elevator and Oceanographer Robert Ballard.
I know the sound wasn´t the best so if you have a chance to watch it at home, try to do so.
Wednesday´s HOMEWORK to hand in on Thursday, the 27th will be an explanatory paragraph on WHY you prefer Space Exploration to Ocean or vice-versa. Some of you mentioned your reasons. Now write
these reasons on your Notebook. Minimum of 3 sentences. If you can´t think of any reasons then write what you learned from these videos.

CONGRATULATIONS for having done your first exams of the year. As you saw, it was easier than you thought, right? It was just a matter of studying first and concentrating before you answer.
REMEMBER write on your notebooks what we see in class. WRITE the new VOCABULARY WORDS in the back part of your notebooks with the equivalent in Spanish and learn them as part of your daily homework by repeating them until you learn them. Make a sentence with each new word.
This coming week we will be going to the Internet Room for your 1st class on Monday 2AB, Tuesday 3AB and Wednesday 1AB...so come prepared.

KIDS,
Other Secondary Schools enter at 7am -- you have almost 45 minutes difference -- enough for you
to have breakfast! (or at least prepare something to eat on your way to school)...get up earlier...do some exercise...
Please DO eat before coming to school, that way you are not tempted to eat your lunch in class.
